MMRA British Championships 2010

Delete Post  Edit Post
Following an agreement with the MMRA FAB-Racing will now run the 2010 Minimoto British Championship in conjunction with the MiniGP, Pit Bike, and Sidecar British Championships. The MMRA will continue to exist as the premier Minimoto club in the UK and will be available to give support to FAB at any time that it is needed. With this integrated set up FAB will be able to offer add on classes at the low rate normally associated with an additional class and there will be advantageous pre-season entry prices for all classes.

An agreement has also been reached with SHARK to supply helmets at VERY special prices to all riders that enter the full series. Remember SHARK is a race quality helmet worn by many World class riders.

SAVA tyres will continue to be the control tyre for the MiniGP British Championship classes but there will be no restriction on the other classes. However, SAVA has agreed to supply us with Minimoto tyres (the new and latest type that won championships in Italy this year) at special prices and in sufficient quantity to enable us to supply to riders in the series also at special prices.

GRO racing oil will also be available to all at much lower prices that at normal outlets. Their 2 stroke oils are to GP standard.

As soon as we have full information on classes, entry costs, regs, etc will put a post on the forum. This should be about 10 days.

We are doing our best to work with other series organisers so that there is uniformity with classes, regulations etc.

Please go to www.FAB-Racing.co.uk for 2010 race dates.

The MMRA in association with Spectrum Ltd (Southport) are offering £50 worth of Sealy tools to the winner of each MMRA class at both Whilton Mill and Lydd... gotta be in it for a chance to win it! Spectrum Ltd (Southport) are suppliers of automotive paint, body panels/parts, tools and garage equipment/consumables. You can find them at 9-15 Ashley Rd, Southport, Merseyside, PR9 0RB... or give them a call on 01704538120 and mention you're an MMRA member, and I'm sure they'll give you a great price on whatever you need. You can also get hold of them via Timebomb Racing (the big yellow and blue truck - just ask for Gordon - Jnr or Snr!)

Presentation Info
Our forum hosts, Minimotoclub.com, are on the move to a new server (moving to the same one as this site basically). Their site will be accessible in the first instance at www.minimotoracingforum.com, but will be available under it's usual address within the next day or two (once the server change has been registered with all your ISPs - takes up to 72 hours usually). Don't worry - it won't be gone long. Stay tuned for status updates.

UPDATE - 28/3 18.42 - Transfer complete, new site back online.
